About Project Windows: Project Windows is a citywide celebration of art, culture, and commerce in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago. This year’s competition is inspired by abstract art and the exhibition Willem de Kooning Drawing.

About Willem de Kooning Drawing (June 14 – September 20): Willem de Kooning Drawing is the first exhibition to examine the drawing practice of the Abstract Expressionist artist. Featuring more than 200 artworks, the exhibition presents iconic works, as well as lesser-known drawings, paintings, sculptures, and prints, many of which have rarely been seen by the public.
